  1. Raise Awareness- To spread awareness about global population issues and their impact on development and the environment.
  2. Promote Family Planning- To educate people about the importance of family planning, reproductive health, and controlling population growth.
  3. Highlight Challenges- To draw attention to challenges like poverty, gender inequality, maternal health issues, and over population.

Report on World Population Day

The World Population Day was celebrated on 11th July 2025 in our college with great enthusiasm and awareness-building activities. The event aimed to educate students about the importance of controlling population growth and its impact on the environment and development.

The program began with a welcome speech by Prof. Dr. Niteen Tulshiram Katrojwar, Coordinator of Student Development Department highlighting the significance of World Population Day and the need for sustainable living.

Guest Speaker Mr. Pravin Wakade, Asstt. Prof. of English Department addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of youth participation in spreading awareness about population control.   The Chairperson of this program Prof. Kartik Patil focused on the celebration concluded with a pledge to support family planning initiatives and promote environmental conservation. Proceeding of the event was conducted by Prof. Pitambar Pise, Co-Coordinator of Student Development Department. The event was successful in creating awareness and inspiring students to take responsibility as global citizens.
