Event Objectives___

     The primary objective of the “One Tree in the Name of Mother” initiative was to promote environmental conservation and tree preservation. During the program, various locally suitable and eco-friendly trees were planted in the college premises. The selection of trees was made considering the local climate and soil type to ensure their successful growth and nurturing. NSS volunteers learned about the tree-planting process and actively participated in planting the saplings.

      On July 10, 2025, a tree plantation program was successfully organized with great enthusiasm at Rashtrasant Tukdoji Mahavidyalaya, Chimur, under the aegis of the National Service Scheme (NSS) department, on the occasion of the birthday of Hon. Dr. Deepakji Yawale, President of Gandhi Seva Shikshan Samiti, Chimur. Held under the initiative “One Tree in the Name of Mother,” the program aimed to promote environmental conservation and raise social awareness, contributing to a green revolution in the college premises.
