Introduction:
As per the directives of the Hon. State Liaison Officer, National Service Scheme, Mumbai, and the Hon. Regional Office, National Service Scheme, Pune, a pre-selection trial for the State-Level Republic Day Parade was organized on 12 September 2025 at Gondwana University, Gadchiroli. The NSS volunteers from Rashtrasant Tukdoji Mahavidyalaya, Chimur actively participated in this trial. Two female students excelled in the trial and were selected for the final round.

During this selection trial, the NSS volunteers demonstrated exceptional discipline, leadership, and parade skills. The selection process evaluated physical fitness, parade proficiency, and overall personality.

Special Mention:
The selected students are now preparing for the next round, i.e., the “Divisional Pre-Selection Trial”, which will be held in Nagpur from 26 September to 30 September 2025.
Ku. Sania Mahipal Sayam and Ku. Kiran Sukhdev Gajbhe will represent Rashtrasant Tukdoji Mahavidyalaya, Chimur in this trial.
This selection provides the students with an opportunity to showcase their skills and leadership qualities at the state level, thereby enhancing the prestige of the college.
Conclusion:
Through this selection process, the NSS volunteers from Rashtrasant Tukdoji Mahavidyalaya, Chimur have not only earned the opportunity to contribute to national service but also qualified for the State-Level Republic Day Parade. This achievement has brought pride to the college, Gondwana University, and the local community.
