Full Proceedings___

As part of its commitment towards the institutional objective of offering safe and homely atmosphere to girl students and also to address gender sensitization, a special mentoring workshop on women’s health and problem redressal during menstruation was taken on Friday, 12th July 2024 by Prevention of Sexual Harassment Cell. Chairperson of the mentoring workshop was Asstt. Prof. Rina Bhoyar and chief gust and key speaker were Asstt. Prof. Nilima Turankar and Asstt. Prof. Durga Devtale.

The workshop was mainly aimed at raising consciousness among female students. They were guided about menstrual hygiene. In her address, Asstt. Prof. Rina Bhoyar stressed the necessity of hygiene and cleanliness during menstruation. She also talked about various diseases that unhygienic menstruation management can cause for women.  Girls present on the occasion asked many question to Asstt. Prof. Rina Bhoyar and Asstt. Prof. Nilima Turankar madam. All the queries were addressed satisfactory by the female members of the cell. The event produced awareness about women’s health and its hygiene during menstruation. On the occasion, sanitary napkins were also distributed to girl students.
