The Department of Economics on U. G. Level was Established in 1972 with the establishment of the college. The College, situated in most backward taluka of Maharashtra state. Department of Economics has been providing quality education of economics since establishment. Seeing the need of area and students College started course Master of Arts from 2007.

  • An Economics department typically offers a range of courses covering core economic principles, specialized areas like microeconomics and macroeconomics, and practical applications of economic theory. Many departments also provide research opportunities, develop critical thinking skills, and foster an understanding of the Indian and global economy. 

Macro-economics deals with the study of nations economy as a whole. The scope of Macro Economics is wide. Macroeconomics is concerned with the study of aggregates. It is concerned with concept such as Aggregate Demand, Aggregate Supply, Total Output, General Price Level, National Income, etc.

The study of macroeconomics gives an overall view of the economy. It interlinks various aggregates so as to show the inter-relationships between them.it tend to provide a more realistic view of the overall economy
