Event Objectives___

On the occasion of Constitution Day, this program was organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) department at Rashtrasant Tukdoji Mahavidyalaya, Chimur, District Chandrapur. The main objective of the program was to create awareness among students, teachers, and society about the values of the Indian Constitution, to explain the importance of the Constitution, and to strengthen the spirit of national unity. Additionally, it aimed to instill a sense of social responsibility and citizenship in students, as well as to promote and propagate the principles of the Constitution. The central focus of the program was to convey the importance of the Constitution to the local community through the rally.

Objective of the Program:

On the occasion of Constitution Day, this program was organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) department at Rashtrasant Tukdoji Mahavidyalaya, Chimur, District Chandrapur. The main objective of the program was to create awareness among students, teachers, and society about the values of the Indian Constitution, to explain the importance of the Constitution, and to strengthen the spirit of national unity. Additionally, it aimed to instill a sense of social responsibility and citizenship in students, as well as to promote and propagate the principles of the Constitution. The central focus of the program was to convey the importance of the Constitution to the local community through the rally.

Outline of the Program:

The program commenced on 26/11/2025 at 10:00 AM in the college premises. The National Service Scheme department organized this event. The main activity was a rally from the college to Chimur, in which students participated carrying placards and posters with slogans related to the Constitution. During the rally, slogans highlighting the importance of the Constitution were chanted. The college’s Acting Principal, NSS Program Officer, all teachers, non-teaching staff, and students were present in large numbers. After the rally reached Chimur, a brief discussion and reading of the Constitution took place. The entire program lasted for about 1 hour, and the participants took part with great enthusiasm.

Conclusion:

The program was successful, through which students gained an understanding of the fundamental principles of the Indian Constitution. The rally helped spread awareness about the importance of the Constitution in the local community and enhanced the feeling of national unity. Due to the efforts of the NSS department, all sections of the college came together, fostering a sense of social responsibility. In the future, such programs will inspire more students and lead to taking a pledge to protect the Constitution.

Closing:

The program concluded with the national anthem after the rally reached Chimur. The Acting Principal thanked all the participants, and the NSS Program Officer praised the success of the event. Finally, all those present took an oath to protect the Constitution. This program created an enthusiastic and inspiring atmosphere in the college. The initiative was successful due to the cooperation of the NSS department and the college administration
