“Adopt Cleanliness, Drive Away Diseases” Campaign
On July 31, 2025, at 9:00 AM, a cleanliness awareness program under the campaign “Adopt Cleanliness, Drive Away Diseases” was successfully conducted with great enthusiasm at Rashtrasant Tukdoji Mahavidyalaya, Chimur, under the aegis of Gandhi Seva Education Society, in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS) and Chimur Municipal Council. The primary objective of the program was to spread awareness about the importance of cleanliness in society and to convey the message that cleanliness is not only a guarantee of health but also a social responsibility.
Program Activities:
- Cleanliness Awareness:
Students utilized various mediums to highlight the importance of cleanliness, including posters, street plays, speeches, and awareness presentations. These activities effectively communicated the message of cleanliness to all attendees.
- Cleanliness Drive:
NSS students conducted a cleanliness drive in the college premises. They took brooms in hand, cleaned the surrounding areas of litter, and made the campus clean and beautiful. The students participated with great enthusiasm, setting a practical example of cleanliness through their actions.
Notable Attendees:
The program was graced by the presence of Dr. Kartik Patil, Head of the Marathi Department, and Dr. Nitin Katrojwar, In-Charge of the Student Development Department. They appreciated the students’ efforts and expressed their support for the cleanliness initiative.

The program was successfully organized by NSS Program Officers Dr. Prafull Rajurwade and Dr. Rajeshwar Rahangdale. Their meticulous planning ensured the event was conducted in a disciplined and impactful manner. The students’ enthusiastic participation contributed significantly to the program’s success.
