On 5th October 2024, a workshop was organized in the college by the Police Department for the protection of girls. The chief speaker of this workshop was Honorable Superintendent of Police  Markam. She provided guidance on the topic of women’s safety and demonstrated various self-defense techniques. It was also announced by the Honorable Principal of the college during the program that various initiatives and workshops on self-defense were organized in the college. In his speech, he drew the attention of  Markam madam towards security measures undertaken by the institute to provide a safe and homely atmosphere to girls and how because of that, the institute every year saw booming numbers of girl students who pursue education in its various streams. The program was attended by the President of the college management, Dr. Deepak Yawale Sir who, in his speech, informed the commitment of college management towards women’s empowerment. He cited education as the most powerful tool of women’s upliftment. The institutional policy to prioritize girl in the admission process aimed to help the institution to stop their parent to marry them off at early age. In the parent meeting, parents were also guided about the change that education of a girl can take place in every family and in society. On the event, he recalled names of brave women in the history of India whose contribution could not be forgotten. The program was hosted by Professor Amar Thaware Sir, and the vote of thanks was given by Professor Reena Gadge Madam.
