IQAC RTM with its establishment has been unceasingly working towards a number of quality drives. Dealing with the conventional yearly curriculum to the introduction and implementation of semester to CBCS to NEP-2020, IQAC tackles most of the academic and administrative challenges effectively. In the 21st century society, the institute faces the challenges of offering state of the art educational facilities to the rural learners. Most of the learners come with poor academic and financial background. Teachers through remedial teaching and counseling support these students and their performances are meticulously observed. Our institute thus maintains consistent good performances in the university examinations.
The institute has brought up a shift in its teaching learning process. It is mandatory for all the teachers to maintain teaching PPTs. The use of ICT tools by teachers is appreciated by IQAC. Certain departments run their own YouTube channel which enables students to watch recorded lectures. Some teachers use online teaching blogs, e-contents, Google forms, Google classrooms and podcast, etc. for teaching learning.
After the reassessment of the institution, IQAC prepares a prospective institutional development plan. NAAC suggestions and recommendations are targeted to be adopted in a systematic manner. Effective NEP-2020 implementation has been a challenging task for us. But IQAC and Principal supported by the principal brings up major changes in the functioning of the institute by establishing a placement cell, facility of on job training to students under NEP-2020, making MoUs with industries in the neighborhood, updating existing facilities in the institute and initiating NEP-2020 awareness drives. The focus has been shifted on skill-based courses and workshops. The institute also receives permission of Gondwana University, Gadchiroli to run three certificate courses. All the students have been registered on academic bank of credit portal.
NEP-2020 has been on the agenda of our IQAC RTM. Our management, our principal and staff along with IQAC are all work towards the accomplishment of vision and mission of the institute. We as an institute abide by the commitment of our patron towards the upliftment of rural folks.
